THE DUCK IN THE POND

As we all guessed, now the cooler weather is with us, the crowds have gone, the garden is empty, and the Flat Cap Society are the only reguler users of the pub.

Lets hope that we are now looked upon in a SLIGHTLY BETTER LIGHT BY THE NEW MANAGEMENT, in view of the fact that we provide a large part of the regular income that pays there wages !.

It appears that we are not going to be pushed out the door as soon as the last bell is rung, but we shall have to monior the situation going forward.

FLAT CAPS

The season of the flat cap is upon us. The glorious summer has passed us and now we can leave the house nowing that our trusty friend, the Flat Cap, can be thrust in to our pocket with the full knowledge that it shall be worn in comfort when returrning home from the pub !!

I call upon all readers of this Blog to ensure that they start wearing there Flat Cap when going about there busniness, and especially when leaving your local boozer !
